Often times, when it comes to business issues , we look every where but in the mirror. But the truth is, It’s not your product, or your brand story holding you back, and its not because your mom and aunties are not sharing your post .

Not saying those things don’t contribute, but the number one reason you aren’t seeing the growth that you want to see in your business is because you are not showing up!

In today’s market the way we show up, where we show up and how we show up online directly reflect your success as a business owners.

It’s time we start seeking to be more visible, and begin creating a strong digital footprint. A digital footprint is all about creating visibility, making it easy for your prospects and potential customers to find you.

The more places you regularly show up the greater visibility you will have online.

For example, my own digital foot print is cast across multiple channels- my personal website, my you tube channel, my business Facebook page and my Instagram. Could i do more, yes… but even with only these channels my name is ranking number one on google search results.

In order to consistently do this we have to also consider the content we create… I know we all want to go viral, the action of an image, video, or link that spreads rapidly through a population by being frequently shared with a number of individuals, but there are other ways in which we can consistently show up that will create a lasting impression.

One can do this by adding value to your client base, sharing unique features about your business, using your email marketing campaigns to announce exciting changes in your business, and blogging. Each of these actions increase your brand visibility, provides hire rankings on search engines, and leads to better relationships with your clients. All of which are amazing ways to increase your visibility online.

Such actions are time consuming for the average business owner, and takes time away from our day to day business operations. This is why we must set up systems to automate and show up for us, even when we are busy doing other things. For instance, Facebook released a new FREE feature just for businesses in order to make posting and scheduling posts easier, there are various websites you can use to design content, such as Canva and Adobe,

Blogging about your business, and emailing your clients is still an essential practice as well, but takes a little practice to get your messaging write.
