Brianca Jay is a writer and educator, who has a Masters in Literature from the Historic Texas Southern University. Both an educator and writer, Brianca Jay spends her days teaching literature to high school students; her dedication to literacy has allowed her to assist 250 students from low income areas in going to and through college.

But, Brianca Jay’s work does not stop there. She is recognized for mobilizing her community through social activism, and has been featured in the New York Times for her efforts to contact government officials through a letter campaign.

Most recently Brianca Jay released her first children’s book that empowers children to learn self advocacy, and foster the communication skills needed for positive social interactions.
